Plant of the month - Sedum 'Herbstfreude' (Autumn Joy)
Our plant of the month is ‘Autumn Joy’.
This attractive, hardy, yet vigourous sedum is probably one of the best border plants – adding colour and interest even when other plants have stopped blooming.
Easy to grow and low maintenance, this perennial will grow to about two feet tall and wide, revealing raspberry pink flowers mid to late summer and has seasonal interest lasting more than six months – well into winter.
They are best grown in full sun, in well drained soil and work well positioned in borders, beds or rock gardens.
