This fiery stemmed dogwood is perfect for adding a splash of colour to your winter garden.
The red stems look fantastic alongside evergreen shrubs and can grow up to 2 metres in height.
Not only does this plant brighten up your garden through the winter months, but it also bears ivory white flowers in the summer, followed by a beautiful cluster of blue-black berries.
It is tolerant to a wide range of soil types and to encourage the colourful bark to return each year, a third of the stems should be cut to ground level each Spring.
