Our ‘plant of the month’ for October is the Anemone x Hybrida Max Vogel.

It is a hardy perennial with extra large soft pink flowers which surround a cluster of orange stamens. The dark green foliage provides structure all year round, making it a lovely addition to garden borders.

Tall and vigorous, this Japanese Anemone thrives in consistently moist, well-drained soil and grows well in either full sun or partial shade. It is a relatively low-maintenance plant that adapts to a variety of garden conditions and is easy to grow once established.

Reaching approximately 3–4 feet in height and spreading around 3 feet wide, Anemone ‘Max Vogel’ offers an impressive display of lush foliage and long-lasting blooms. Its pollinator-friendly flowers and graceful appearance make it a versatile and attractive choice for adding colour, texture and seasonal interest to any outdoor space.
